Dear SGBC Brothers and Sisters,
Thank you, brothers and sisters, for your cooperation, so that the online “Resume Gathering Survey” can be successfully completed, from which we can better grasp the opinions of brothers and sisters on the arrangement of future physical gatherings. Based on the survey responses, we will analyze the results for future planning. In the next few weeks, we will share with you when and how to restart physical gatherings and how many stages we will have to arrange. We are not in a hurry to reopen. The pastoral and leadership team will continue to pay attention to the development of the pandemic, hoping to reopen at the most appropriate time with proper arrangement so that brothers and sisters can feel at peace and concentrate on physical worship. Please pray for the church and ask God to give us wisdom and understanding to make proper decisions.
SGBC 2nd Quarterly Members Meeting
Our 2020 2nd QMM will take place this Sunday June 28 at 2 pm at the Sanctuary of EastRidge church. We will ensure to follow government guidelines and take necessary precautionary measures for the meeting. Brothers and sisters are encouraged to join. Please come with your own masks, keep proper physical distance, and follow instructions from ushers for seating. Meeting agenda, written reports and proxy ballot have been sent to members. For those who are unable to attend meeting on June 28, please send back the proxy ballot before June 28. Stouffville “Strawberry Festival” Community Worship
The annual Stouffville “Strawberry Festival” Community Worship will be held this Sunday June 28! ESC will be joining the churches of Stouffville to worship God together at 10:15am through http://www.stouffville-gbc.org/live/. Let us experience the unity of the church in this city together!
ESC “Grad Day”
Praise the LORD for bringing this year’s junior/senior high school and university graduates through this important chapter of their lives! ESC will be hosting a “Grad Day” on Sunday July 5 at 2pm on Zoom for a simple celebration. Please contact Pastor Ada at [email protected] for more details.
Observing the Lord’s Supper
We will be observing the Lord’s Supper together on July 5, please prepare your heart. Our team has already distributed Lord’s Supper 2-in-1 packages at the end of May to those whose information has been registered with SGBC and those who are actively participating at SGBC.
