SGBC Family News | April 3, 2020
Dear SGBC Brothers and Sisters,
Entering April, we encourage everyone to actively prepare your heart and focus on the heavy price Jesus Christ paid to fulfill God's redemption plan for us. He was tortured and He suffered for us to the point of sacrificing His life on the cross, so that we can know the love of God and the eternal hope that was brought by His resurrection. During this Lent season before Easter, may you continue to spend quiet time with God in His Word and prayer to be grateful for all that God has done for us.
This Sunday April 5 we’ll worship God together and observe the Lord’s Supper together online. Please prepare your body, mind and your heart. Over the past week, our pastoral and deacons’ team has delivered the individual packages of the elements to those whose information has been registered with SGBC and those who are actively participating at SGBC. If you have registered but have not received it, please contact Pastor William Wong immediately: 647-809-2103 [email protected]
Everyone should have got three packages. Please prepare one of them for this Sunday and keep the other two safe for Good Friday on April 10 and May 3. They do not need to be refrigerated.
Despite the physical distancing, our hearts are connected in Christ. It might be the first time for many of us to observe the Lord’s Supper online, so let’s do it in remembrance of our Lord Jesus together!
